    Pre requisites

1. You will have to remove the password protection from Online store>Preferences>Password Protection - Uncheck the option: “Restrict access to visitors with the password” and then click Save.
   

2. For the Advance method of product fetch: you will have to create a custom app in Shopify and fetch the API key and API token.
   Below are steps:
   A. Navigation: 
   Setting>Apps and sales channels> Develop apps>Create an app>Add any app name(copy paste this: “Shopify_Importer_Flipshop”)>Click Create app button>    
   [App gets created]
   
   B. Go to> App and sales channels>Go to “API credentials”>Click “Configure Admin API scopes”> Provide Admin API Scopes access of modules: “write_products” and “read_products”
   
   
   C. Again,Go to> App and sales channels>Go to “API credentials”> Click “Install app” and then click “Install” button>
   Fetch Admin API access token and API key.
   
   
   
   D. To fetch store link, go to settings->”Shopify store link” is on top left.
   
       
   
   

How It Works:

Step 1: 
Go to the Plugin Section: Search the Shopify importer plugin in Plugin module(inside Storefront utilities)


or

Go to Dashboards(for new users): Click the Shopify importer plugin present in bottom right of Step 2: “Add first product”

Step 2: Install the Shopify Catalogue Importer in Plugins: 
Click on Install button.

Step 3: Click on Configure button on top right

Step 4A: For Advance: 

A. Enter the Shopify store link


B. Enter Shopify API key and Shopify Access token
(detailed steps mentioned in pre requisite)

Step 4A: For Basic:
 

Step 5: Click on Start Import: Click the “Import” button and then click “Execute” button and then let the plugin do its magic – it imports all your products for you!

Step 6: View Import History Details:
Congratulations! Your products are imported.  
Go to the products section and check out the imported products.

That's it! With just a few easy steps, you've successfully moved all your products from Shopify to Flipshop PRO. Now you can start selling in your new store hassle-free!

• Yes, Shopify Importer is available as a free-to-use plugin.

2. What details are imported from my shopify store?

• Your product categories, descriptions, images and prices are imported.

3. Do I need to login to my shopify store to import details?

• No, you do not need to share any credentials of your Shopify store. You can import product data by using only your Shopify store URL via basic mode but if you want to import collections as well then use the Advance method where you will have to enter the Shopify API credentials.
  
  

4. How long does this import process take?

• The product details are imported within a few minutes. Once this is done, your product images are imported in the background. This can take up to 10 minutes to complete depending on the number of products in your store.
