This feature allows sellers to manage notifications sent to customers via SMS and Emails, as well as integrate third-party SMS and Email providers. Let's walk through the steps involved in setting up and configuring notifications effectively.
SMS
Steps to manage the SMS notifications(if using Flipshop’s default SMS provider):
In settings, Go to ‘Notifications
In the ‘Manage Email/SMS template’ section, you can see Events’ list and their active statuses.
To edit and manage notifications for a specific event, click on Event to go to the ‘Event’ screen.
In ‘Event screen’, change the status of Notification
Disabling means notification will not be sent to customer
Enabling means notification will be sent to customer
Note: When the Default SMS provider is used:
SMS sender will be TM- KARTFS.
SMS template can’t be edited, in this case.
Steps to manage the notifications(if using custom SMS provider):
In settings, Go to “Notifications”
In ‘Notifications’, go to Configure Provider, Select and configure the SMS Provider and Email Provider.
After configuring, Go to ‘Manage Email/SMS template’ section, you can see Events’ list and their active statuses.
To edit and manage notifications for a specific event, click on Event to go to the ‘Event’ screen.
In ‘Event screen’, change the status of Notification
Edit the SMS template, please make sure that the template is same as verified template in SMS provider
Edit the Email template
After editing the template, Save event.
Disabling means notification will not be sent to customer
Enabling means notification will be sent to customer
Steps to configuring SMS Providers
In settings, Go to “Notifications“
In ‘Notifications’, go to Configure Provider.
Select and configure your preferred SMS provider from the available options. You can choose Flipshop's default SMS provider or integrate a personalized third-party provider.
Before configuring, you need to register with a DLT and SMS Provider beforehand.
After completing the registration in SMS provider’s platform, you need to add API details in the Manage section of the selected SMS Provider.
After configuring API details, make sure the SMS template is the same as the verified SMS template in SMS providers website.
Steps to manage the Email notifications:
In settings, Go to ‘Notifications
In the ‘Manage Email/SMS template’ section, you can see Events’ list and their active statuses.
To edit and manage Email notifications for a specific event, click on Event to go to the ‘Event’ screen.
>> Edit Email Subject >> Edit Emaiil body
In ‘Event screen’, change the status of Notification
Disabling means notification will not be sent to customer
Enabling means notification will be sent to customer
Note:.
Email templates can be edited in both (custom or default) providers cases.
Email is sent via the Email entered in Store details(Field name = Store Email).
